Job's Daughters International of Queensland
What is Job's Daughters?
Job's Daughters is...
a quality organisation created with the purpose of teaching young women to be contributing, self-reliant and confident adults.
We aim to achieve this through four main devices:
Learning...
Job's Daughters is an organisation for young women just like you. We will help you learn important life skills such as leadership, organisation, teamwork, and confidence. While we work to help our community. But most importantly, we want you to have fun doing the things you like to do.
Many of our local groups have competitions with awards and recognition for outstanding achievements.

Leadership...
Job's Daughter groups hold two business meetings a month which are a mix of ceremony and regular business. They are chaired and run by the young ladies themselves. This gives them the opportunity to discuss the business of the group, plan upcoming activities and welcome new members.
From the teachings and ceremonies, members learn important life lessons, while at the same time learning practical lessons about running meetings, handling finances, planning events, and public speaking.

Fun & Friendship...
Local groups plan frequent fun activities like bowling, pool parties, sleep-overs, mystery trips, dinners, kidnap breakfasts, scavenger hunts, and many, many more.
There are also regular opportunities to go to fun activities that are planned at the state level - giving a chance to make new friends and hang out with young ladies from other parts of the state.

Community & Charity...
Each Honoured Queen (the young lady who is the leader or chairperson of each local group) selects a charity or service project to support. Various causes are supported at the state and international levels as well. These might include causes like breast cancer, diabetes, food drives, visiting nursing homes, collecting Christmas gifts for needy families, participating in fun runs, and a variety of other worthy causes.

Job's Daughters are always ready to help.
